Personal and professional papers of Berkeley contain articles, book reviews and speeches, correspondence and miscellaneous items pertinent to Berkeley's position as Curator of Manuscripts at the University of Virginia Library as well as his many historical and bibliographical interests. Lester Jesse Cappon (1900-1981) was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Jesse Cappon and Mary E. Geisinger Cappon.
